At the same time, the ability of humanitarian actors to reach people in desperate need has been severely hampered by violent conflict, attacks on aid workers and essential services, and access constraints.<\/p>\n
Despite these obstacles, we continue to reach people in need through ongoing strong engagement in applying risk management measures, humanitarian access negotiation with all stakeholders, as well as strengthening of community acceptance.<\/p>\n
“INTERSOS directly witnesses the devastating impact of obstacles to humanitarian action on civilians, particularly in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, DRC, Mali and Sudan, six of the most underfunded crises in 2024.
