With 285 projects implemented thanks to the work of <strong>3,835 humanitarian workers<\/strong>, we continued to provide support in areas affected by conflict, health crises and natural disasters. In Chad, Central African Republic and South Sudan, we responded to the needs of people fleeing the <strong>war in Sudan<\/strong>. We also laid the groundwork for an intervention in Sudan, planned for early 2024. At the end of the year, the new <strong>mission in Mali<\/strong> became fully operational, while the registration process in Ethiopia was still ongoing. Our ability to intervene promptly was possible thanks to close collaboration with local communities and partner organisations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INTERSOS&#8217; integrated approach, combining protection and health, enabled us to provide comprehensive and multidimensional assistance for the most vulnerable people. We have continued to implement <strong>protection programmes<\/strong> that include psycho-social support, legal assistance and the management of complex cases, such as survivors of gender-based violence, unaccompanied minors and the most fragile categories of the population: women and children. In parallel, through our <strong>medical programmes<\/strong> we have ensured access to primary health care, offered treatment for malnutrition and sought to improve sanitation in the 23 countries of intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The highlighted activities and data, documented in the Annual Report, are a reflection of our commitment and the dedication of our field staff, who work every day to turn challenges into opportunities. As we celebrate our achievements in 2023, we are aware that humanitarian challenges continue to grow. With 301 million people in need of humanitarian assistance in 2024, INTERSOS remains determined to strengthen its capacity to respond and assist those most in need. <strong>Our goal is to continue to
