The 2019 Annual Report encloses data, activities and results of an entire year of intervention of the INTERSOS Migration Unit.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

INTERSOS Migration Unit was created in 2011 as the internal section specifically dedicated to projects focused on migration in the Mediterranean region, that includes Serbia, Italy, Greece and most recently Libya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2019, with more than 250 staff<\/strong> in the aforementioned countries and 30 active projects throughout the year<\/strong>, the Migration Unit has been focusing on first assistance at interception to transit, hosting and longer-term reception in accommodation facilities for migrants in the Mediterranean region. A year full of challenges but also important achievements for those we assist, thousands of people fleeing their homes searching for a new opportunity in Europe.<\/p>\n
